Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer UK qualificatication for electrician to the USA:D

Immigration is the way it is. However, it is not the way you describe it in any of your posts on this thread.

More seriously, your work skills will be obsolete and it will take some time
to get permission to work. Fortunately you will speak english which is in
advance of many people. C. Nuttee

Hello,

I understand this thread was from a while ago but I am too making the move from the UK to California next year.

I do have a green card myself but am still finding it difficult to find out how to go about re qualifying.

If anyone has had any luck or can suggest some help that would be great.

Thanks

OK folks, this is a seriously OLD thread, and chances are, the principal participants from 2008 haven't been around for a very, very long time. It might be time to start a new thread with a title that reflects the open question posed by angushep regarding "renewal" of a Green Card. (I'd suggest including a bit more in your question - like how long you have been living outside the US. It will make a difference.)
