Hello everyone,

I'm currently pursuing my Masters in QLD and have submitted a Student (Subsequent Entrant) (subclass 500) visa application for my spouse on April 26th, 2024.

According to the Immi portal, processing times for subclass 500 visas in the Higher Education Sector indicate that 50% are processed within 41 days and 90% in 3 months.

There are changes proposed for Subclass 500 visas starting from July 1st, 2024, including a reduction in the number of grants. Since Dependent visas also fall under subclass 500, I'm curious to know if these changes will impact the processing of Dependent subclass 500 visas as well.

If any of you are in a similar situation or have recently received approval, I would appreciate hearing about your experiences with processing times.

Thank you.

Not really, Just check you have ticked all the boxes for documents. No documents are missing. If you still think its missing. You can it later as well. It will take approx 4 months if you have submitted all documents. It will take more than 5 months if any documents are missing. You can give your screenshot of social media s as well. Just to show your bond is real and strong.
