Lol, as SRRV couldn't get verified on GCASH in 2023 because they only accepted ACR-I, so I used MAYA which easily verified with my SRRV ID. Back then I told my Filipino nephew about the GCASH situation so he "I can get you verified, uncle". He just wanted my Phils DL abd phone number and sure enough he got me verified without ACR-I. I "think" what he did was to list me as a Filipino instead of foreigner...I think. I don't know how else he could have done it. But, by that time, I had gotten so used to MAYA that I didn't need GCASH anymore. Eventually PRA received tons of complaints about GCASH not ing them. Possibly, those who knew about MAYA gave their business to that money wallet. But if you are aware of MAYA you know it us nearly as functional as GCASH and can actually use it instead. For sure, GCASH sent a lot of expat SRRV business to MAYA.

 

I tried with my port, DL, and port. I couldn't get verified. I said screw it, and just use my BPI or BDO. I also use my Google Pay, because most places I shop have tap and pay anyhow.
