I have a query regarding PCC. My current address is different than the port address(contains my hometown address). Since I am working in a different city(current address), is it possible I can take the PCC from my hometown address only?
PCC query when port address is different than the present Address

Yeah you can get it but book the slot where you got the port. If you give the different address you pcc might get delayed. As they do address verification
If port address is different from current address, there could be a police verification and some more time would be taken until you receive your PCC.
If both addresses are same, usually you get the PCC issued the same day,
Better apply with present address itself.I had faced a similar issue .
It's always good if you apply with the present address and it is the fastest way.
Please suggest what should I mention in the "present address field" in PCC application form if my present and permanent addresses are different. Since I don't have all the relevant document of my present address I want to get my PCC from PSK of my permanent address.
