Hey guys, wondering if you can help me with my query. I haven't received an invite yet but Migration QLD states that if ever invited, the applicant must provide an ongoing employment for further of 12 months. I have a 14 month fixed term contract, but by the time I can apply for EOI, I'll be left with just 8 months since they can't provide a contract that goes beyond my 485 visa expiry date.
1.) If ever I get invited, can I provide a letter on intent from my employer stating that my contract will be extended upon grant of PR? I work in state government right now.
2.) Will my casual employment count as work experience? I am employed through a licensed labour hire agency but on a casual basis, however, my contract states I work 38/hrs a week.
