Hi, would like to know the chances of getting 1 year RRV.I have recieved my PR in 2018 and PR travel facility expired in 2023. Can any one with similar experience let know if there is chance to get 1 year RRV if I Apply from offshore

PR : Oct 2018
months in Aus : Dec 2018 to May 2019
Left Aust for personal work abroad, and covid situations couldnt travel back
Again in Aust - Oct 2023 to Oct 2024
Left Australia to take care of sick parent.

what are the chances that I could get 1 year RRV?
regarding ties, I have my sister and family living there and do not have any employment/real estate ties as of now.

I understand the decision differs, but would like to know how 3 months or 1 year RRV is determined.
Thanks

Case officers follow the sequence outlined in the eligibility requirements published on the immi site.

A 3 month is only issued when someone has not spent enough time in Australia to demonstrate close ties or cannot show that there was a compelling reason for ones absence.

Given family here, and the circumstances you outline, I have little doubt you will be issued a 1 year... but again that will come down to your ing evidence.
